How does it work?
The Olaplex treatment is a three-step process. In the first step, Olaplex Bond Multiplier is mixed into the lightener or color. This prevents the normal breakdown of the hair’s disulfide bonds during the service, and the Olaplex molecules begin rebuilding already broken bonds. After the color service, the hair is treated with Olaplex Bond Perfector, which strongly re-links the bonds within the hair.
The treatment continues at home once a week with Olaplex Hair Perfector, used during hair washing. The home product is not strictly necessary, but we highly recommend its use, especially if hair is frequently styled with heat tools (like straighteners or blow dryers) or is subjected to vigorous brushing. The at-home treatment prevents damage and repairs existing damage from daily stress on the hair.

If you’ve been considering lightening your hair, we highly recommend doing it as an Olaplex treatment. Lightening is the most demanding hair service, often leaving hair dry and coarse. You can forget dryness and coarseness when lightening is done with Olaplex. With Olaplex, we can also lighten your hair much more than with traditional lightening methods, without fear of severe damage. Olaplex salon treatment
If your hair is dry, coarse, or in poor condition, an Olaplex Salon Treatment can offer significant help. We’ve often seen instances where hair, weakened by excessive processing, was breaking easily even when brushing. An Olaplex Salon Treatment can often provide a noticeable improvement in these situations. Clients frequently report that their hair feels significantly stronger immediately after the treatment, with a reduction in breakage.
If your hair is in very poor condition and you’re planning further chemical services, we recommend an Olaplex Salon Treatment at least 24 hours before your Olaplex color or lightening service. The Olaplex Salon Treatment has also been beneficial for many hair extensions that have become compromised.
